What Are The Precautions To Be Taken After Scalp Micropigmentation?

Although micropigmentation is a non-invasive process, there are certain precautions to be followed in order to maintain the results of the same.

It is necessary to avoid stepping into the sunlight for at least four weeks. Also, after that, using a sunscreen with at least 30 to 50 SPF is necessary as constant sun exposure may turn the micro pigmented spots green or blue thus hampering the general appearance.
Swimming, sauna, and wetting the scalp must be avoided for at least 5 days after the process in order to keep the pigments intact.
A vigorous or heavy exercise routine that may cause sweating must be avoided after the final session as it might result in wetting the scalp.
The doctor might prescribe some moisturizer after a week in order to restore the softness of the scalp.

The results of micropigmentation can be said to be semi-permanent.
